We personally select every antique sword advertised and guarantee them to be at least 100 years of age. As a martial artist with over 30 years experience in both European and Asian martial arts, owner, Scott M. Rodell, selects swords not only for their beauty and collectablity, but for their utility in modern form practice. However, it is not recommended to use an antique sword for test cutting practice. Martial artists may purchase with the confidence that our swords will meet your expectations. Please keep in mind that while these pieces are sold as art, they were originally made as weapons. At times, swords are sold in polished condition. That means that they may be sharper than razor sharp and can easily cut. When handling any piece you alone are responsible for your safety and the safety of those around you. All antique items are sold ‘as is’. If any item is in anyway altered by the purchaser, the sale if final, no exceptions. This includes polishing a window on any blade.

Orders for antique swords to be paid by personal check or money order are held for six days. Orders are usually shipped UPS the day after payment is received. Payment should be mailed to:

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase of an antique sword from Seven Stars, return it, in the condition sent, within three days and we’ll refund your money in full upon receipt. No explanation is necessary when making a return. After three days the sale is final, no exceptions.

Due to long potentially long Customs delays, all international sales are final. The purchaser assumes all risk of damage from shipping.

When making a return, ship by UPS or FedEx and insure for the full value. We do NOT guarantee a full refund on items returned via the USPS Parcel Post, we have had too many pieces go missing or take months to arrive. Items returned via Parcel Post that take 2 weeks or more to arrive ensue a 20% restocking charge. Please note that return items not insured that are damaged or lost during shipment, are at the purchaser’s risk. All International sales are final.

All Huanuo Forge swords on the site carry a 12 month guarantee against defective workmanship. Should you experience a problem with your item please contact us and we will contact Huanuo on your behalf. Huanuo has a ‘usage policy’ which determines what is and is not covered, for instance, damage resulting from incorrect use would not be covered. Also note that blades bent during cutting practice will not be replaced, but may be returned to Seven Stars, at the owners expense, for straightening at a nominal cost. The exact cost for straightening a blade will be determined once it has been received Seven Stars.

You may return Seven Stars books or DVDs, and receive a full refund of your purchase price (less shipping and handling) provided that the return is mailed to us within ten (10) days of your receipt of the book or the DVDs. Returned books and DVDs must be received by us in new, saleable condition to be eligible for the refund. If you decide to cancel your order before it leaves the warehouse there is normally no charge, however if you cancel after your credit card has been charged this will result in a 5% transaction charge.

All orders are fully insured when shipped. It is very unlikely that an item will be damaged in the course of shipping. If it is, please file a claim with the shipper. In most cases we ship via UPS.
